Eligibility criteria for Indian students:
- Minimum age of sixteen years (16) is eligible to join the course.
- Successful completion of Class 10 + 2 with Mathematics and Physics. Candidates who are expecting results may also apply.
- Students who did not have Physics and Mathematics in 12th standard may appear for a supplementary examination for these subjects separately or may occur only for Physics and Mathematics separately through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
- Proficiency in the English language.
Eligible criteria for overseas students:
In addition to the above qualifications for Indian cadets, overseas cadets would also require the following: –
- Pre-visa evaluation at the Indian Embassy
- Security consent from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, India
- Pass medical examination (at least Class I) from a DGCA-approved designated medical practitioner.

- Air Navigation:
- Air navigation includes using navigation aids, instruments, and aeronautical charts; a thorough understanding of the principles and characteristics of suitable navigation systems; operation of airborne equipment; dead reckoning techniques; and practical aspects of navigation.
- Usage of radio navigation aids.
- Use, reliability, and accuracy of navigation systems used in departure, En-route, approach, and landing phases of flight; recognition of radio navigation aids; and more.
- Meteorology:
- Meteorology is the study of weather from the perspective of the aviation industry.
- The interpretation and application of aviation meteorological reports, charts, and forecasts are made.
- Procedures for obtaining meteorological information for pre-flight and in-flight altitude.
- You get to study Aeronautical meteorology and characteristics of significant weather phenomena, which help in En-routing flight, take-off, and landing conditions in hazardous weather avoidance.
- Air Regulation:
- We study the Aircraft Act, 1934, and the aircraft rules act,1937.
- Rules of the air
- How to follow and practice Appropriate air traffic services and procedures.
- Technical general:
Technical general includes automation of flight such as:

- WPC conducts RTR (A) Exam.

- While getting class 2 clearance Parallelly, you can start with the 2nd step, which is to get your DGCA Pilot Medical done.

Flying Training:
- The ultimate step is to complete 200 hours of flying in a DGCA-authorized Flying school.
