Today, I am explaining to you how to proceed with the installation of a sink on a piece of furniture provided for this purpose. Rest assured, this is a simple operation, within everyone’s reach. For the installation of this sink to be successful, it is necessary to proceed step by step.
1 – Check the feasibility of installing the sink on furniture:
First, make sure that the installation of your sink is possible. Indeed, the sink cabinet or the dedicated space in the worktop must be the same size as your sink for the latter to fit perfectly. Check that the piece of furniture, or the worktop, is perfectly fixed, stable and horizontal. Also remember to locate the water supply and drain pipes.

2 – Drill the sink to install the faucet on the cabinet:
Identify the location of the faucets. You can locate yourself thanks to pellets or drilling primers. Then, using a drill or hole saw, open the hole. Once the hole is made, smooth the edges. If you are drilling an enamel-coated sink, do so with the visible side. Otherwise, you risk breaking it. If it is a stainless steel sink, use a cookie cutter with a diameter slightly larger than that of the faucet.
3 – Fix the faucet on the furniture:
Before installing the sink, you need to fix the faucets. Whether it is a mixer or a mixer, the step remains the same.
First, you must connect and screw the two water supply hoses to the faucet body. You will then place the O-ring between the faucet and the sink before inserting the faucet into the hole provided for this purpose. All you have to do is slide the rubber seal and tighten the notched nut.
Regarding the drain located at the level of the drain hole, do not forget to attach the seal provided to ensure the tightness of your sink. If not provided, apply sanitary sealant around the hole.
4 – Place the tank on the cabinet:
Turn the sink upside down and apply a bead of silicone sealant all around it. Then, if it is fixed on a worktop, install the fixing brackets around the sink. If it is fixed to a cabinet under the sink, adequate fasteners will stabilize it. Turn it over and insert it in its place. Once in position, tighten the mounting brackets and allow the gasket to dry.
5 – Connect the water supply to the stainless steel sink:
Last step, connecting the hoses from the tap to the hot and cold water pipes. Also remember to connect the siphon to the return pipes. All you have to do is tighten the nut and your sink is ready for safe use. Here are some tips to remove sink
