This week Salvatore Virzi shares the details of his daily routine to accomplish tasks.
I caught up with Salvatore Virzi to know about his personal life, professional journey, and business challenges. In this exclusive interview, he reveals his learning, motivations, and aspirations.
1. Please tell us something about your background?
I was born and brought up in Italy. I am married and my wife’s name is Calogera Malaponti. I am also a father to a son, Edoardo Virji.
2. What’s the reason behind your fitness? Would you like to share your daily routine with us?
The key to my healthy well-being is my lifestyle. It was a hardcore drinker earlier. I have quit drinking for the past 3-4 years and this has completely transformed my body clock. I often wake up at 5 am. Moreover, I have also adopted the habit of reading.
3. Describe the things that you love doing?
I believe in doing things that are interesting, not fun. I love to travel and explore different places. Apart from that, I am a big foodie. I love to try the local cuisine of the places I visit. So, whichever country or city I go to, I always make sure to relish the delicacies of that place.
4. Do you believe that you were born with an entrepreneurial spirit? How did you build it?
From the time I gained my senses, I always wanted to become an entrepreneur. I love supporting and helping people. I firmly believe that no individual is born an entrepreneur, but it’s the environment where you grow that infuses the passion for running your own business in you.
5. What challenges did you face in your initial years?
The biggest challenge that most entrepreneurs face when they come up with the idea of becoming an entrepreneur is that they are not taken seriously. I too faced this challenge. Besides that, the other challenges I faced included rejection, mental and emotional tolls, etc. Gradually, I was successful in overcoming these challenges and reaching my goals.
6. What were the biggest mistakes you made along your journey?
One of the biggest mistakes I made in the initial years of my journey was that I put my foot into a lot of things. This diverted my mind and focus. Today, when I look back, I feel I was extremely crazy to try doing that.
7. What advice would you like to give to young entrepreneurs passionate about starting their own businesses?
One of the main reasons why most entrepreneurs fail in their journey is because they don’t know how and where to start. I would like to tell young entrepreneurs that there is no best place or time to begin your entrepreneurial journey. The most significant thing you need to remember is to continue trying. You might fail initially, but eventually, you will succeed and become successful.
Secondly, you must never stop experimenting. Experimenting with different things will make you know what will work best for your business.
Thank you very much, Salvatore Virzi, for taking out your valuable time and sharing your thoughts with us. It was wonderful speaking to you. We hope your professional journey will inspire thousands of young entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses.
