1) Do I need a Disney Plus subscription?
As Disney Plus launches, there are questions that need answering before you’re ready to subscribe. Does everyone in my family need a subscription? Will it replace Netflix? 2) How do I sign up for Disney Plus?

3) Can I use multiple devices with my Disney Plus account?
Currently, your Disney Plus account can only be used on one device at a time, but that will likely change in time. Disney has stated that it’s looking into developing an app for multiple platforms so you’ll be able to use Disney Plus on more than one device at a time. That said, there’s no official timeline as of yet as to when such an app might become available or how much it will cost. So if you’re concerned about multiple streams and what they might cost, we recommend waiting until they’re made available before using your subscription with two or more devices.
4) Does Disney Plus have parental controls?
Parental controls are exactly what they sound like: They let you restrict access to certain kinds of content. But if your kids are logging in with their own passwords, they can get around them, so you’re left with a whole bunch of restrictions that don’t matter. If you want some control over what your kids can watch on Disney Plus, get involved in what content they have access to on Netflix or YouTube—and talk with them about why some videos are worth watching and others aren’t. Give them an understanding of quality entertainment. If you don’t think that’s enough, then Disney Plus probably isn’t for your family yet—but keep checking back because all these services are constantly evolving and getting better over time.
5) Is there advertising on Disney Plus?
Like many other streaming services, Disney Plus will offer advertising as well as paid subscriptions. The good news is that Disney Plus will offer lots of free content at launch, so you can decide if a subscription makes sense for your family before investing in a paid plan. Either way, a subscription gets you access to all four of Disney’s online streaming services: Hulu, Hulu with Live TV, ESPN+ and Disney Plus. If you have a cable or satellite subscription that includes ESPN channels, then you already have access to ESPN+. In addition to live sports events from college football and NBA basketball games, there are several original shows coming from Marvel Studios too.
