This week I got an opportunity to interview Jole Figliomeni, the founder of M.A.S business solutions and co-founder of African consultants. In this interview, Jole Figliomeni speaks about her life and the person who has always inspired her to reach new heights. Here are excerpts from the interview.
Here we speak to Anna about her personal and professional life.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I was born and brought up in Italy. After completing my schooling and graduation, I moved to West African Ivory Coast, and finally, in 2020, I stepped my foot into the business world by founding MAS.
Tell me something about your educational background?
He was quite a studious child and was strong in both academics as well as sports. I did my schooling and college in Italy. I earned my master’s degree in Management Engineering and Industrial Management from Politecnico Milano in 2005. After completing my post-graduation, I was keen to do some kind of social services, and that’s why I volunteered for social services. I was a president at G.L.A.M.-U.R. I was also a representative at the Jighi Foundation.
Who was the most influential person in your life who has inspired you?
The most influential person in my life was Steve Jobs. I was extremely inspired by his thoughts, beliefs, and passion. He had that zeal to reach beyond the impossible.
His strong personality and the ability to achieve the highest standards have always motivated me to achieve the impossible and make life-changing decisions.
How did you plan to start your own business?
My biggest motivator to start my own firm was my entrepreneurial spirit. I was fascinated by the success stories of many successful people. Also, from my childhood days, I was passionate about having my own company and being my own boss.
