WHAT TO DO ON THE TRIP
DAY 1
As you arrive in Manali, test your motorbike and get used to the roads. You go through the challenging roads along the Kullu Valley as you go riding on the Himalayan riding premier. Also, You can test the bike and acquaint yourself with handling the bike for the entire tour as you go on the tricky bends and stretches. You can enjoy the fun ride to Kullu Valley and then come back to Manali.
Day 2
You get to start your adventure on the bike as you go ahead. Start your ride to the Rohtang Pass located at an elevation of 3978 meters. The gateway to your bike trip is this beautiful mountain pass. This is quite challenging as the roads are not very good and the weather conditions are uncertain. You will pass through Lahaul Valley as you overcome all these challenges. You will reach Jispa as you go further where you can halt and rest.
DAY 3
As you leave Jispa, you will enter the Greater Himalayan landscape. You will enter into the heart of the mountains as you go on this highway route. You will love and enjoy the splendid view of the Baralacha Pass that is located at an altitude of 5000 meters above sea level. As you go ahead on this route, you will reach Sarchu which is the borderline between Kashmir and Himachal. You will enjoy camping at Sarchu.
DAY 4
You will face a lot of challenges as you ride through the flatlands and get into the mountain horizon. And you will drive through the second-highest motorable mountain pass in the world, Tanglang La which is at a height of 5300 meters. You will ride through well-maintained roads after crossing this pass. And you get to visit the monasteries of Thiksey as you en route.
DAY 5
You start heading toward Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass located at a height of 18360 feet. This is one of the world’s highest motorable passes. You love to click pictures and to get a feel standing at one of the world’s highest passes. One can also visit Diskit Monastery which is very popular. DAY 6
You will enjoy waking up to enchanting natural sceneries. Enjoy the picturesque beauty on the way as you drive to Pangong Lake alongside the river Shyok. As you go ahead, you will reach Chang La located at 5500 m above sea level. The Pangong lake is the largest high altitude brackish water lake in the world. Take a stroll along the lake and enjoy the sunset.
DAY 7
As you go ahead on the route, you will reach Leh. You can go on a sightseeing tour around the place. Visit the Shanti Stupa which is a Buddhist white dome structure that overlooks Changspa. Also, enjoy the views of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar range. Enjoy the energetic vibes of Leh.
DAY 8
As you bid adieu to Leh and en route, you will get to see the most scenic spot in Ladakh’s landscape, Pang. You can halt at Search which is in the middle of the beautiful destinations, Manali and Leh.
DAY 9
Go ahead driving through the Sarchu plain and reach Baralacha. Enjoy crossing through Lahaul ranges and then reach Rohtang pass. You will be challenged with mini rivers of mud and then reach back to Manali.
