We’ve been in Boston for nearly two years currently. We initially went away “just to see” and after that, we became enthralled with the city quickly. I feel like I’m just arriving here while simultaneously having completed a myriad of activities… The two years have gone by so fast that we haven’t even found the time to go back to France in all of this time! At the moment, we’re renewing our visas, and it’s time to reflect and ask myself why I enjoy the city of Boston?
The 4 Seasons
What? Before our departure, we were informed it was a bad time to leave Boston. Boston was horrible, that we’d want to return, as it would be tough. True that winter is brutal. The benefit lies in the fact that within Boston there are three distinct seasons. an attractive spring filled with flowers, hot, bright summer with a humid level that creates the illusion of living in a tropical climate. Stunning autumn with glistening shades (it’s cliché but there aren’t alternatives). And then winter comes and a true winter with freezing temperatures and snowstorms. A breeze that will cause your eyes to bleed and cause you to want to soak in hot tubs. We’re always ready for winter, and when it gets colder it’s not like we could have an option. In the past, we’ve been insane for the first snowstorm of the year!
The City Is Very Small
This city is small…but Greater Boston, the city agglomeration of Greater Boston, still has 6 million residents. Boston is a great large city-side and it’s easy to move around by foot, bicycle, or even by subway. Additionally, we don’t have an automobile: we lease one from time to time when we need to travel to a different location for the weekend. Boston is a city that is lively as well as tranquil. Sometimes I get the impression that it’s a small town, but I’ll go to a neighborhood in which I don’t go out and I realize there are still plenty of places to explore. The fear of emptiness or the possibility of being isolated.
There Are Very Good Restaurants
My fears of having to eat burgers and corn for two years have been a thing of the past There are plenty of great eateries in Boston. Of course, if you’re looking to indulge in fast food with greasy ingredients and burgers, Boston is also full of choices. Boston black car service offers you luxury car transportation for going to these resturants.
It’s a Student City
Between September and May, Boston is an exclusive zone for students who exhibit the bipolar style of dressing that is comfortable during the day and then ole-ole in the evening. Boston is also vote the most unfashionable city across the United States (but trying to appear chic at a temperature of -10 degrees isn’t easy). The students aren’t only the representation of fashion faux pas, they also are those who contribute to the cool vibe of the city: coffee shops, art exhibitions, and concerts, among other exciting events.
The People Are Nice, But Not Too Much Either
Oh, the endless enthusiasm of Americans! Little cat, toddler in a stroller, mini-successful everyday life, brand new T-shirt: every little thing is look at positively and is followed with a roar of excitement. fantastic! Boston isn’t an exception to the general rule, however, Bostonians are know for having a rough edge and this is admirable. Nice, however, not too much.
