I stand a little further from the ball than most players. It's just what feels comfortable and natural to me.
I deliberately slow down my takeaway and extend my arms as far as possible. It gives me more consistency with my tempo and helps me generate more power.
Although my takeaway might look slow and awkward, I do generate a lot of power and accuracy by extending my arms.
I keep my lead wrist flatter and lower the shaft position to promote an inside swing path into the ball.
I have a tendency to swing my hands first, so they get out of alignment with my body. I try to find the right balance where I’m using both my hands and body together.
My swing feels very strong and powerful when I'm turning my chest with my hands.
My head is down, but my chest is still turning.
I extend my arms as far as possible when the shaft is parallel to the ground after impact, mirroring my takeaway position.
A nice, balanced finish position.
