Overview

The irons in most amateur golfers’ bags are all the same model. But if you’re a Tour player, you’re much more likely to have two, three or sometimes even four different iron models as part of your set makeup. The best players in the world have figured out that getting each iron in your set perfectly matched to your swing — even if they don’t all match each other — is the best way to play. Titleist is embracing this concept and creating iron models that fit seamlessly with each other, allowing for sets to be individualized to golfers’ needs. Golf Digest’s Senior Game Improvement Editor Luke Kerr-Dineen visited the Titleist Performance Institute in California to learn more about blended sets and got to see with his own eyes how much optimizing the fit of each club can improve performance.
