Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii

The PGA Tour season started back this week in Hawaii and Chris Gotterup wasted little time announcing that he may be on his way to having a breakout season. Seems premature, sure, but he absolutely obliterated Waialae Country Club Sunday in shooting a final-round 64 to cruise to a two-shot victory at the Sony Open, his third win in the last three years.
Gotterup took home $1.638 for the victory from the $9.1 million check. Ryan Gerard shot 65 and finished second. Patrick Rodgers was third, three behind.
"You couldn't dream up a better start," Gotterup said after collecting seven birdies on the day.
Elsewhere, Robert MacIntyre tied for fourth place, Hideki Matsuyama tied for 13th, Jordan Spieth tied for 24th and 62-year-old Vijay Singh tied for 40th place, shooting 68-69 on the weekend.
